Orix Soccer Academy welcomes competitive players arriving in Vancouver from across Canada and around the world who want to continue their soccer development while pursuing their education.
Whether you are an international student coming to Vancouver to study English, attend secondary school, college or university, or a Canadian student relocating to the Lower Mainland.
Orix provides an opportunity to continue training and playing in a competitive soccer environment while building your new life in Vancouver.
Train & Play at Your Level
Orix offers year-round academy programs for competitive youth and adult players.
Players can request an assessment with Orix and train with the appropriate age and ability group. Our coaching staff will evaluate each player before determining the most suitable placement within the Academy.
Depending on age, level and availability, players may have opportunities to participate in:
Year-round youth high-performance training
Academy and league competition
Men's competitive soccer
Strength & conditioning
International travel teams and tournaments
University and post-secondary soccer pathways
International Students
For international students, joining Orix is also an opportunity to become part of a Canadian soccer community.
Players train and compete alongside local Canadian athletes, providing a natural environment to develop friendships, experience Canadian culture and gain practical English-language immersion through everyday communication with teammates and coaches.
Soccer becomes a common language that helps players connect with their new community while continuing to pursue the game they love.
Canadian Players Relocating to Metro Vancouver
Orix Soccer Academy also welcomes ambitious youth players from communities across Canada who are considering relocating to the Metro Vancouver area and wish to access a competitive soccer environment and greater development opportunities.
For players with aspirations of reaching higher levels of the game, being based in Metro Vancouver can provide greater access to established player pathways, including BC Soccer Premier League (BCSPL/SPL) environments, high-performance training, college and universities playing opportunities and other competitive programs.
Orix can help players and families navigate this transition by providing high-level training, player assessment and guidance toward appropriate competitive pathways. Where suitable, our coaching network can assist players in identifying opportunities and potential placement with programs that align with their ability, development and long-term goals.
Our objective is to help talented and motivated players find the right environment to continue progressing—whether that pathway is with Orix or elsewhere within the Metro Vancouver soccer community.
